The LiftMaster MyQ Package includes (1) MyQ Control Panel and (1) LiftMaster Internet Gateway.
With this system, you can upgrade your LiftMaster garage door opener manufactured since 1998 to the new MyQ and Security+ 2.0 radio systems. The new system gives you control to manage your LiftMaster garage door opener and other MyQ accessories from anywhere in the world by using your smartphone, tablet or computer.

MyQ Control Panel
Upgrades your LiftMaster Security+ garage door opener manufactured since 1998 to the new MyQ® and Security+ 2.0 radio systems. This will allow you to control your garage door opener and home lights using your smartphone or computer (when paired with the LiftMaster Internet Gateway).
LiftMaster Internet Gateway
Connects to an Internet router to provide remote access through MyQ technology. MyQ is an intelligent two-way communication system that has the ability to manage and activate other MyQ enabled devices within the home and provide simple control of home lights, garage door opener, and select gate operators via an Internet-enabled smartphone or computer.
The LiftMaster Internet Gateway is compatible only with the following LiftMaster products: LiftMaster Security+2.0 garage door openers with a yellow learn button (models 8550, 8360 or 8500), LiftMaster Security+2.0 gate operators (models CSW24V, CSL24V or LA500), MyQ Control Panel (model 888LM) and related MyQ accessories (823LM, 825LM and 829LM).
