Why We Love Del Mar
Del Mar Fairgrounds
Thousands of people visit the fairgrounds every summer. The grounds are home to multiple sports training facilities and events are hosted throughout the year. More interesting is the fairground's history. San Diegans began gathering for their annual county fair in 1880. Half a century later, the 22nd District Agricultural Association was established in San Diego and the organization purchased the property where the fairground now stands to continue hosting its annual event. Over a century later, we're still able to enjoy the fairgrounds.
Seagrove Park
Just steps away from Downtown Del Mar is Seagrove Park. It's a beautifully landscaped park with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. Ever been whale watching? This is the perfect spot for whale watching from December to April.
